Fondren Unwrapped Draws A Crowd
The gist: Jackson's Fondren southern business district - aka downtown Fondren - gets an injection of holiday spirit at Fondren Unwrapped, a giant holiday open house for its merry merchants.
About 4,000 to 5,000 folks turned out to stroll the streets of this cozy, historic Jackson neighborhood, pop into shops for a festive snack or drink, mingle with neighbors and friends and cruise for gifts.
